"Carolyn Smets is a friend and former employee of mine. . . . We routinely refer our clients to her for pet-sitting services, and the feedback we receive is always positive. Carolyn's clinical experience makes her a good choice for care of pets with medical needs including injections, fluid therapy, oral medications, or close observation for other problems. We highly recommend Carolyn for your consideration . . . for pet sitting."

"I have been lucky to have Carolyn Smets care for my dogs for over two years. . . . As a dog mom, I like to know how they've been when I've been gone, and Carolyn leaves a diary of every visit to our home and how our dogs behaved. When I get home after a trip, I read the diary first thing. It really makes me feel as if I haven't missed a thing!"
Carolyn shows such a love and genuine joy in caring for animals. I would recommend her for any person looking for an individual that is responsible and has such a love for animals!"

Dear Carolyn and Toby:
I want to thank you again for your outstanding and exceptional pet-sitting services. My family has used a number of pet-sitting services before we came across your services. As you know, we have used your pet-sitting services on numerous occasions, and each time we are astonished by the level of service and the amount of care you take in performing those services. You and your company are certainly the exception to the rule, and exemplify outstanding service. Our pets are members of our family, and you give us peace of mind when we are away. Our thanks again.
Sincerely,
Robert and Family

"I met Toby and Carolyn Smets in the Fall of 2007. At the time, I was facing the challenge most pet owners must go through once in a while: having to find a loving, caring, and safe pet sitting service. I had planned a 3-week family vacation and needed to ensure Homer, Rainbow, and Linda (my 3-year-old Labrador retriever, my 4-year-old and 2-year-old Cockatiels, respectively) were going to be just fine, despite our absence.
After two months of visiting pet boarding facilities and interviewing pet sitting professionals, I found Pets R Family Too.
Our experience with Pets R Family Too was absolutely fantastic. During our absence, Carolyn e-mailed us periodically, briefing us on the situation at home and providing pictures of our “kids.” A meticulous daily journal showing an organized and detailed record of Carolyn and Toby's daily visits, allowed us to learn what had happened at home during those three weeks.
I recommend Pets R Family Too without reservation. Carolyn and Toby's professionalism and love for animals will fulfill your expectations."

Dear Carolyn:
I can think back to the first time we used your services for our cat, Lucy. She was very special to us and her having diabetes made it impossible for us to leave. She needed two insulin shots a day! Lucy was getting up there in age and we wanted to keep her at home rather than kennel her, exposing her to possible infection unnecessarily.
Knowing that you had been a veterinary nurse previously certainly made us feel confident that you knew what to do. Your knowledge, experience, and caring attitude is very evident.
Sincerely,
Duanne and Bill

Carolyn and Toby -
Thank you again for all you do for Mokha and Emmett. I truly appreciate knowing that not only do you take incredible care of them while I am away, but I also appreciate the peace of mind knowing that you are keeping a watchful eye on my house.
Carolyn certainly went above-and-beyond during her first sitting, when the hot water heater sprung a leak. Every time I come home from being away, the “kids” are very relaxed and worn out from all the love and attention you give them.
Also, I love reading the journal entries you make about your visits. Your entries capture the funny things about the kids’ unique personalities, and always make me smile and laugh.
Thanks again for all you do,
Hilary

In 2008, our family went through some big changes, some we expected and some we didn't….The biggest change we never expected was the expansion of the family to include a dog… a Golden Retriever … we renamed him Bailey. We drove across the country [from Boston, MA] and eventually settled into the Gilbert area. We quickly realized that leaving Bailey home while we worked was not fair to him but we were reluctant to add yet another change to his life…however it was decided that we really needed to find someone to take him for a walk in the middle of the day. I placed a few ads and received many phone calls, we interviewed with a bunch of them but never found anyone that we felt comfortable with nor did Bailey take to any of them. Then one day I received a call from Carolyn, we spoke on the phone for a bit … we set up a meeting. From the minute Carolyn and Toby walked into our house Bailey took to them.
There are days that I come home now and I think Bailey looks at me with distain because I'm not Carolyn or Toby, he adores them. He listens for the sound of a vehicle out front and goes to the window looking for them. On the few days that I have had to work from home I can tell you he sits in the front window watching them leave for about 20 minutes. Bailey has never reverted back to that scared and shy pup that we rescued in 2008 and has thrived under Carolyn and Toby's care. For as long as we live in the area and need someone to care for Bailey, or any other pup that comes into our home, we will never use anyone but Pets R Family Too because we know that Bailey is just as loved in their care as he is in ours. We are immensely grateful for the care and love that they give to Bailey and I'm positive that you will be too!
Sincerely,
Shannon, Shawna, and Bailey
